PLAYER has been sent to another area of the mine by one of the WARDENS and finds a man speaking to another frontiersmen. The frontiersmen throws his hands in the air, and walks away from the SOREN. SOREN looks at PLAYER, turns around, and sits on a large rock.

From disposition, we all originate. A voluntary sacrifice, meant to rekindle the flames of fulfilment. However that fire is not without cost, the situations encountered may either take your life, or give it real purpose, or neither.

My origins? My life? The real question is whether or not we should have a say in the matter. I wonder, would I have said yes to my mother if she asked me if I'd like to be born? Or, would I have slapped her across the face, whichever I chose I’d end up regretting it, especially not slapping my mother.

I tend to wonder if any of these fine gentlemen take a moment to consider the importance of this great moment in history. I mean, it would be hazardous to consider that we are most likely working towards literally nothing, and only further prolonging the acceptance of that very truth.

Something that keeps me entertained is listening to the other Guls. I know what they call me, but those who speak know well when to listen. Besides, I find the best places to look for wisdom is with those who are labelled to lack it.

Come to the frontier, perhaps you’ll regret it - if you don’t, perhaps you’ll regret that too? You can’t help but laugh, because in all honesty, you run no risk of disappointment really, that is, if you understand it’s guaranteed.

Upon the ruins of monuments that pay homage to a pioneer, we find nothing but scavengers and dying sheep. A shame really, what was meant to be a kingdom turned to this. Regardless of how things unfold, I intend to dance if these palaces burn.
